Each Monday is family night in our house. This night we began by having an object lesson about the importance of instructions/or a recipe and how that relates to having the Gospel in our lives. Dad(dy) and the kids attempted to make chocolate cookies. I wasn’t allowed to help since that is a recipe I have in my head. I used the opportunity to capture their (mis)adventure. It was so funny to watch what they put in the cookies including things such as milk and oil. The last image pretty much says how it all turned out. The mixture was too gooey for cookies and ended up in bread and cake pans. Yet, it was still too dry to be a cake and not nearly sweet enough. The evening was full of learning, full of laughs and full of love. <3
